University of Peshawar was established in 1950’s. This is one of the oldest universities in KPK and still ranked number 4 by the HEC in the general category. This university covers 1045 acres of land. Currently 12,151 students are registered in this university under various subjects. This university awards degrees in social, media and physiology to the students. In order to get admission in the M.Phil or PHD program most students have take the GAT which is offered by NTS and the preparation is offered by Pacans.
