Poor countries are the countries which are deprived of the basic necessities of life and they do not have ample resources to trigger economic growth while the rich countries have abundant resources to prosper both economically and socially. Some people tend to believe that reliance on the foreign aid is fundamental for success while others believe that this munificence will make the people of the country lethargic and less willing to work with vigor and zest.

I personally believe that poor countries are often ruled by brutal leaders and leaving them in the hands of the cruel leaders will eventually make their lives intolerable and unbearable. If I take the example of my own country it has sufficient resources, but people are still not provided with the things they require so they have to take the aid from the foreign countries like America.

International aid helps the country build its structure. Some countries are endowed with resources and the ability to use them while other only combat their ill-fortune. Developed countries can easily help other people for the noble cause of humanity and that can easily be done if they cut their extravagant expenses. This money could be used to improve the education system which would consequently make the people adept at doing different things. This money could be made to improve the health situation so that people do not die of minor diseases. This money could be used to lessen domestic violence and as a result of this the killing in retaliation could also be prevented.

The problems which poverty can generate are of great magnitude. They are often ignored, but if we analyze thoroughly we will easily be able come to the conclusion that poverty initiates all kinds of crime. Rich countries have grave concern regarding the terrorism prevailing in the current era, and this terrorism is stimulated by unemployment and poverty. Countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan are accused of being terrorist states as the people living there are still striving to live a normal life with their families. If the international community actually makes their standard of living better, I do not think their life would be in jeopardy. I am adamant on the issue that international aid plays an indispensable role in the growth of a developing country.
