GAT General Math Tip no.8: 1000 questions before the exam
I am not joking. I actually mean it. Before the exam you should have practiced at least 1000 math questions. If you have not done 1000 questions there is no way you would get a good score on the exam. In the broader context there are going to be about 20 main topics in math and you should have done practice for 50 questions per topic. The key to success in the Math section is not to stop. Keep on doing questions and a time would come when you would have no difficulty in solving them and you will know how to apply the basic concepts easily.
